Nomadic herders are part of the culture and tradition of the Bjelašnica region, and they found their
refreshment during the hot Mediterranean months here, and even today, Herzegovinian shepherds with
their flocks of sheep find it here. A herd of semi-wild horses, which also graze grass until late autumn and live in the Bjelašnica glades and meadows, and return to the warmer regions of Herzegovina in the winter, are often encountered on our tour. Flocks of sheep, a shepherd’s dog that is a living witness of the wolves of Bjelašnica, smaller shepherd’s dogs that the shepherds call “hunter” (Croatian sheepdog breed), a shepherdess knitting, a shepherd playing the flute, Treskavica in the distance, Herzegovina, mountain springs, Katuni, and that’s all you’ll see on this tour.

We will also visit the goat farm “Didova Farma”, which is in Ostojići at a slightly lower sea level, and then we will
climb towards Kramari and the villages above Kramar, where since last year the farm “Farma Bjelašnica” has been living in Milišići, which breeds Salers breed cows. On the way back, lunch at Honey Walley or Javorov Do.
